The screen was nicer but I didn't notice the difference in refresh rate everyone was raving about. Other things I didn't like was the battery life, there was no noticeable improvement in performance vs my 3XL, the cell reception was worse, and it constantly ran hot. It traps dirt like crazy and just makes the phone thicker when in a case to protect it. It looks fine but it just felt so cluncky and not cohesive. There was only a noticeable difference in the low light night sight photos. All the pictures i took in good lighting looked the same as on my 3XL. I liked having the telephoto camera but the picture and video quality was not the improvement I expected. The fingerprint scanner was fine IMO (although I really missed the drag down notification gesture). I never experienced the main issues other people post about (my carrier is only 4G so that may be part of it).

3XL DIRT 3 UPGRADE

The 6 Pro wasn't bad and was a noticeable upgrade to the 3XL. In the end, they both arrived about a week apart so I got to compare all three phones at the same time. In the meantime, I also ordered the regular 6 when it was on sale at Amazon. But my delivery was delayed for more than 2.5 months so I lost some of my initial enthusiasm. I was really excited for the Pixel 6 when it was first announced and I pre-ordered the Sorta Sunny Pixel 6 Pro in October. My 3XL was starting to show its age (the battery life is getting worse, the usb port only works in one ordination, and the camera is dated now compared to the rest of the competition). I ordered both the Pixel 6 and the 6 Pro and had some feedback for people in my situation thinking of upgrading their 3XLs
